It originated from our school’s application to establish the Department of Medicine. The gross anatomy course is a required course for basic medicine. In order to express our determination and intention to apply for the Department of Medicine, we specially sent staff to Tzu Chi, National Cheng Kung University, National Taiwan Medical College and other medical schools to learn from the experience, and commissioned professional architects After the design, the main structure construction started in September 2006, the general teaching building of the medical school was completed in October 2007, and the purchase and installation of internal instruments and equipment were completed in June 2008. The gross teaching building is planned to have five floors in total. The first floor is for gross storage and anatomy laboratories, the second and third floors are the experimental animal center, and the fourth and fifth floors are the microsurgery and endoscopic surgery teaching centers. The first floor area is 660.56 Square meters, the second to fourth floors each have an area of 639.53 square meters, the fifth floor has an area of 671.14 square meters, the roof protrusion area is 81.24 square meters, and the five floors total 3331.53 square meters.
